A life shaped by faith, enterprise, and the person.
Andreas E. Widmer is an Associate Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship at The Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business and director of the Art & Carlyse Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship.
His work connects entrepreneurship, leadership, international business, economic development, and Catholic social thought. Across those fields, he returns to a central question: does an institution treat the human person as a participant with judgment and capacity, or merely as an object to be managed?
A former Pontifical Swiss Guard, he is the author of The Pope & The CEO and The Art of Principled Entrepreneurship.
